Citi Custom Cash MC approved

If there's anyone who bombards me with CC invites on a constant basis, it's Citi... Usually it's for Double Cash or Simplicity. They tempted me with Custom Cash this time.

Citi seems to have forgiven me for burning them for $~1700 back in the 90's.

I may use the 0%/15 months for some home improvements, but the 25.24% APR after that seals the deal on NEVER carrying a balance on this card!

Pulled Experian (like everyone else seems to! ) 772 Fico 08, 10 INQ's, No baddies, No new accounts in the last 6 months, but picked up a few CU cards last Jan/Feb.

Great card to have, got mine for the 5% gas when Disco or Chase is not offering it. Grats on the excellent SL too!

I was actually expecting Citi to low ball me with $3-4K if they approved at all with my EX being quite busy this year... I'm pleasantly surprised

Although you can opt-out of emails, I was also receiving the non-stop Citi mailers about "earning $2,000 to open a checking acount" - also shown under offers on their site. You might start seeing those. I did a Citi chat session and within a few minutes the CSR removed me from the Citi promotional mailing list. Customer service is good.

As to Aprs, over time I have had good responses from Citi in permanently lowering interest rate Aprs.

Will add they are slow in usually giving the larger CLIs but do come through and found the same for interest rate lowering!
