15k in Citi SP CLI’s

Last year or two I've requested SP's on Citi cards and been declined. Last month I tried Double Cash. Instant $4k increase. SP language was there for AA MC so tried and received $4k also. Decided to stop there. Earlier this week saw SP language for Prestige. Instant $4.5K increase. Tonight tried last card, Costco and got $2.5K increase. Now all accounts say not eligible and list date of last increase as well as date eligible for increases. Don't remember ever seeing that. $15k in increases over less than 30 days. Maybe loosening up?

750-760 across all bureaus. 10-11% utilization. Long history with no derogs.

Which AAdvantage card do you have?

And for data points, what were the old/new credit limits? And about how much spend were you putting on each card? It has appeared to me that Citi is more generous with CLIs after moderate-to-heavy relative spend.

Interesting that they are now listing the date of last/next available CLI. Enjoy those new limits!

Executive World Elite

AA $20,500 - $24,500

Prestige $30,000 - $34,500

Costco $7380 - $9880

Double Cash $11,800 - $15,800

AA hadn't used in 10-11 months. Prestige $800-$1000 a month almost entirely restaurants for 5%. Costco varies from $0 to $300-400 month. Double Cash hadn't used in over a year. I think I was looking for an excuse to close as I have multiple 2% cards.

Thanks for those data points! If you've been denied for the past couple of years and then got all those approvals, something must have shifted in your profile that they liked. I notice that the highest increase on Prestige was also the card with the highest monthly spend, but it sounds like they were pretty generous on all the cards as a whole. That adds up to over $60K now in Citi exposure ($60.8K.) Sweet. How does the new Prestige limit compare to your non-Citi highest limit cards? Their limits normally seem to fall in the mid-range comparatively to other large banks from what I've seen.

Over $80k with Citi. Chase card $69,500 and three cards at $50k. My profile really hasn't changed ove the years. Oldest account on file from the 80's

Congratulations on all the Citi credit increases. If you don't mind what is the income you report, if I had to guess it is over 150K to get thoes increases from Citi. Income is one of the most important factor for bank to grant credit limits you can fico scores over 800 if you don't have income to ssupport limits you will hit brick wall for increases, again congrats enjoy it.
