Personal AMEX Gold - APPROVED NPSL!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE I WAS APPROVED!

I have had the worst experience with Amex. I have the Delta Blue Amex, which was approved in December 2021 with a $1K SL. I have tried to get the limit raised at least 3 times to no avail, even though my scores have improved and my payment history is spotless.

I received an email from AMEX over the weekend that I could be approved for the Gold Card. I didn't believe it! But I logged in, put in the quick application, and a few seconds later, APPROVED! For now, it has a NPSL, but customer service says that may change in the future depending on my spending.

I'm not sure if a hard pull was done to my credit, because no inquires have popped up yet.

I'm grateful for all I have learned in the group, it has helped my scores improve, and now one of my "goal cards" is now in the "win" column. Now back to the beginning of my gardening!

AENB / AmEx will determine your NPSL based on your spending habits over the next few months.

It is also subject to change after that.

Congrats on getting approved and adding the AMEX Gold to your win column! 🥂

If you're an existing AMEX cardholder it won't be a hard pull, it's just a soft pull on your Experian report.
