Amex BCP 3x CLI

Finally came time to ask for my 3x CLI. I started out May 13th with an initial CL of 15k. Asked for total CL of 45k, and they came back with 35k. I went ahead and let them look at my bank accounts with the hope they will give me the other 10k, but, regardless, I am happy with my new CL.

Just checked, and after Amex reviewing my bank statements, they gave me the other 10k I had asked for. Amex BCP is now 45k

Congratulations on the big bump! If you do not mind sharing, how is your limit vs income? I've been reading amex usually is 50% of of annual income for a limit. Though there have been outliers who exceed that. Congratulations once again. Enjoy!

Thanks for the follow up on that! It's good to know the AMEX 3X CLI is still legit. I'll be going for it next month on 2 newer cards with them.

CL is only about 17% of annual, DTI is about 7%. I am only just getting back with Amex after 10 year blacklist, so it will take some time to work it up higher.

Hey @MarkintheHV - I know this is a couple months old, but question as I have an BCP also w/an SL of 15k. My question is how much were you using/spending per month prior to the CLI? Thanks and a belated congrats!

Maybe $1k per month. Nothing huge, paid in full each month
