BOA/FIA CLI

Been rebuilding my credit for few years and finally getting there with 672 FICO, car loan, mortgage and few decent prime cards but nothing higher than $2k limit on them. Well today for hell of it I've asked BOA who I have for 2 months and FIA fidelity Amex that my 2nd statement just cut for a CLI. Asked both for 5k and got it on both of them. Doing a happy dance. Gonna wait few months and then close out my Sony Capone with No Annual fee, my quicksilver with 39 fee, and discover IT if they don't increase my limit from $1k to at least 5k after my 6th statement cuts next month.

WTG very nicely done! Congrats on your CLI, that's a great bump.

For Cap1 cards, are you closing them if you don't get the desired CLI or just going to close them anyways? Sony Card seems pretty tough to get a CLI for many members here, so best of luck to you. I would still keep QS1 & Discover IT even if the CLI doesn't come through..

i might not close discover IT and Sony right away, but QS has annual fee of $39 in November so I'm closing it in October.
