Affinity FCU Cash Rewards Approval

This has to be the longest appproval process I been through. I applied for membership which was declined at first but later approved the following day after contesting the denial due to identity verification. Had to submit paystubs and utility bill. Right after membership was approved, I immediately applied for the Cash Rewards which went pending. Today marks the 13th day since submission and I just got the approval for $5k at 18% APR. They pulled EX Fico 8 which was 659 (FICO 9 is 723). 6 inquiries in last 24 months, roughly 18 new accounts in last 2yrs and 1% overall utilization. I'm 2 years & 3 months post CH7 discharge and also had $1k sitting in the Smart savings account. Heard great stuff about this card and CU so I'm really excited to use it for the upcoming holidays!

Congrats on the new card. You will love the Visa cash back( it's a signature Visa), I've had mine for 7 months now and it's by far one of my top 3 favorite cards, I use it as one of my 2 daily drivers along with my Amex gold. Have accumulated over $350 bucks already including the initial $200 sign up bonus. I just requested a CLI about 2 weeks ago, took about 7 days total and was increased to 10k. Hands down one of the best no anual fee card out there, and the staff is super friendly too which is a bonus, I'm sure you will get a welcome call if you haven't already. Once again congrats 🍾🎉.

I don't get it, did all inqs go to EQ and TU? Where do u live 😭 All I get is EX here in SoCal..

lol out of the 18 accounts, I got 6 without a HP (Apple, Upgrade card, Appliance Connection, Bread Cashback, GM rewards, Tomo). On TU I have 9 inquiries and 2 on EQ. I think TU is the most pulled report for me @Anonymous
