Instant Approval for 7K SL UCLA Wescom Rewards Visa

Despite having been in the garden briefly, I pulled the trigger on the UCLA WESCOM CU Rewards Visa. The pre-appproval email indicated I was pre-approved for a $7K limit. This card is the UCLA version, and they must have pre-approved based on my relationship with UCLA after having gotten my Masters there a number of years ago.

The APR is 18.15%, and 0% for six months. I have no pre-existing banking relationship with Wescom. Not the greatest rewards but I was not going to turn down such an easy pre-approval. They pulled EX.
