It's been about 5 months since my last cli request. Suprisingly, I've somehow managed to get 3 cli's on this card alone this year( auto cli from 6.5K to 8K, manual CLI from 8K to 10K). But this time I wanted to see if I could get a cli for my Reserve instead. Figured they'd request access to pay stubs if they didn't approve my request. Was immediately denied with a 7-10 day letter. It stated my spending on card in relation to current limit is relatively low. I thought I was gonna have to wait 91 days before attempting another cli. Well, I went right back in app and tried to request a lower amt for the Reserve but immediately got same denial msg. Instead of walking away, I figured I'd try and see if I could request a cli on my Skymiles Platinum instead. To my surprise, I could get back to the request screen and I submitted an increase to 13.5K from current limit. Immediately approved!!!! I was surprised the system let me go back in a 3rd time to make the request. I was sure that I'd have to wait until 91 days.

btw, spending on Reserve this year is only about 27% of limit but I've spent nearly 94% of the limit on the Platinum.
