I laughed so hard when I got $6000 from prior $2000 limit. It is a store card, can't use anywhere else. What do they expect me to buy on that $6000? Buy out the whole local store?

Maybe they think you need both a 9 HP Towable Backhoe *and* a 9500-watt generator?? $3,499.99 + $2,399.99

That would be a pre-tax balance of $5,899.98 with just two items before taxes. So yes, they do sell some more expen$ive items. They wouldn't want you to stop short of your dreams due to no credit, right? Lol

@Lest that is quite an increase.....enjoy??? Congrats! Seriously though, even if you won't ever need that high a SL, look at the bigger picture...you are doing great managing your credit and finances, so much so that you were given a credit increase that will last you for years!!

HF is not a high priority card to have your wallet unless you are a homeowner or a blue collar working professional, but if you are in those demographics a $6k limit is just barely enough. For those of us that have a line item in the annual budget for tools and the like, it is a great card to have. It cushions your total credit and allows for a tool to join the collection at 0% for 6/12/24 months without exceeding 28.9% if the credit limit is high enough. Enjoy the win.
