New SECU Credit Card and Offer

Hiya guys :-)

I cant possibly keep up on all

the credit things that I do,

but once in awhile something jumps out

at me and I feel the need to share

it with y'all.

I have been with SECU a long time

and have several credit cards with them,

none lower then 10K.

As a matter of fact they gave me another 10K

about 5 weeks ago.

This afternoon I opened my email and got an

ad from SECU telling me about this new card.

I am not sure if this is a pre approval offer

or just a mailer so we will just have to see what the data

tells us. I just filled out the ap,listed the normal

stuff,income,DL number,adress etc.

Now the last time 5 weeks ago I had to speak to a

representative,nothing needed, but this time no rep at all.

I am going to let the pics speak for whats going on here.

I have not yet recieved a hp but dont consider that as gospel.

I asked for and got 10K

also lowest apr after 1.99% afyer a year.

I hope this can help someone and I apologise in advance

for having to leave after posting this,but I will be back at 11:30 A.M

tomorrow to answer any questions if needed.

@UH_HUH I saw and got that email as well.. What is your total unsecured CC with new card with them as they use to be capped at 25k is this still true or you beyond this? As if 25k would be worhtless card for me as already at 20k on previous one and wouldnt apply just for 5k. Any insight on total unsecured credit with them would be appreciated that you have as UW always changes.

Allways a pleasure. Woke up and saw your question,
my days start at 3:30 A.M. for a bit so allways hard to sleep.
To answer your question anyone can get 30K TCL
including me. But SECU also rates individuals on their own internal scoring,
an A PLUS credit rating can get you up to 75K Hope this helps ya out.

That's not a new card. They've had it for quite awhile. I've applied for it 3 times and been turned down each time

Congratulation...Very happy for you..Nice going...Last year I received a pre-approved offer for this card, but when I applied they denied by stating-"Esclatation of debt" just because I have total available unsecured CL of a bit over $500k....But I am sure that so many members on here have a lot more total unsecured CL and they have received cards with this CU...Its just that they pick whom they wanna give their goody to, I guess...

Just a note. I figured out you're talking about SECU-MD but there are other States that have State Employee Credit Unions that also go simply by SECU, like NC. So might want to type out which SECU in the future cause I was about to search my membership in SECU-NC for that new card

Yep this is MD, but agree many states have them

Yeah this post wasn't a masterpiece @SouthJamaica LOL!!! Thanks for correctly pointing out this is not a new card. Their wording in the email through me off. I wish you better luck on attempt number four for the card. BTW no judgement on attempts on getting this card.,,. I have tried more for one LOL
