2nd BofA Approval in 3 days. Travel Rewards

Approved for the Travel Rewards Signature Visa Card at $20.8K. I was just approved for the Unlimited Cash for the same SL this weekend. Looks like they used the same HP from Experian bc I have it locked.

No previous history or banking relationship with them before app'ng for these cards. I'm shocked to say the least given what I hear about them being relationship driven. Now I'm really off to the garden.

Congrats on the double approval.

BoA does have a long track record of reusing the same hard pull for additional applications for 30 days. Occasionally something would slip through the cracks but if/when they realized it they would on their own initiative have the hard pull triggered by the 2nd application withdrawn.

To be honest, I only app'd for the Travel Rewards bc I travel overseas monthly to Japan and wanted the no foreign transaction fees. Granted I get that with some of my other existing cards as well. This 2nd card was more of "let's see if they'd grant another with that same hp. " I'm likely going to be changing up/ pc'ng some other cards in the next year plus so I was willing to have similar earnings for now. I also thought that since I wasn't my checking/banking through them, I'd get declined for that second card immediately. So this was equally a bit of science to see if I could get that two'fer. I'll probably look to adjust some of the earnings with these cards via pc change hopefully in FY24. I appreciate your question though and totally get it.

That's great to know. I've checked my online banking and both accounts are showing up and I also have spoken to their CSR to expedite the cards as U have travel coming soon overseas. I'm going to keep Experian locked until the 2nd card arrives to be safe but at least, both accts are being shown now and the 1st card has already shipped out. Hopefully, all good in the end 😊

Appreciate the insights and historical data points on them using 1 pull. I read that occasionally some might slip through so I thought I'd play that science experiment🤔
