For the data points; how much did you burn them for? I ask because AMEX seems to have thresholds of time before allowing folks back in, and the thresholds seem to be based upon how much they got burned for.

I took them down for approximately 6k. Was a member begining in 2002.

Not my highest limit approval, as I have a Discover with a $18k limit approved last summer. But thrilled with the $1k limit as I hope it opens other Amex doors and CLI's down the road.

Yeah, that slots in with various other data points I've observed; those who burned AMEX for less than $10,000 seem to get back in within a year or two of a Chapter 13 discharge; those of us who are up in the five-figure category, we might be waiting many-many more years.
