Lowes Advantage Approval!

Just did the prequalify and then got an approval for the Lowe's Advantage store card by Sync! $9,037 (random) credit limit.

Since I am a first time home owner, it will be nice having 5% off at Lowe's. Will make quick use of the $100 signup bonus.

Synchrony with the odd duck limit

With a $7000 or more initial approval, it is easy to get the limit raised right away.

Call Synchrony Credit Solutions: 877-379-8173 (Overseas)

And ask them to raise your credit limit. Ask high, the card can go up to $35K

I also did this as a "NEW HOME OWNER". If your TU score is 770+ you have a good chance at reconsideration of your CL and ask high. After a 3-5 min "On-HOLD" they came back with congratulations, you've been approved (all before using the card, but had the card in-hand at time of the call).

Congrats and I agree with calling and requesting a higher limit.

If I recall, back in the day... the $X,X37 or $X,X34 amounts were notorious for temp credit limits and indicate a higher line was available. Coincidentally, it's also what Sync temporarily lowers credit lines when those accounts are dormant for a particular amount of time.
