Frontier Credit Card

Got approved yesterday for a Frontier credit card w/ a CL of $14,000 my highest ever starting limit.

I applied for the card in the morning so that I could book my wife's flight after work but could not use it to pay for the flight. Just got off the phone w/ Barclay's and they are going to expedite a card so that I can have tomorrow (waived the fee for it) so that I can use to book flight. WebChat sucks but good service so far.

Kids Fly Free is what got me sold on this airline.

Congrats on the stellar approval! Now I'll say this, Frontier Airlines is cheap for a reason. I flew them once and never again in my life, I rather walk to get to my destination lol. Their fares are inexpensive undoubtedly but there's an opportunity cost to it and they will nickel and dime you for every single thing that you'll end up spending all the savings you think you got. And oh did I say they will cancel your flight an hour out and not automatically rebook you on the next one. Customer service at the airport is subpar, I think they're literally competing with Spirit to earn the badge of shame lol.

I've flown w/ them before and they are an upgrade from Spirit that's for sure but w/ 3 kids the Kids Fly Free will be the only way we can fly w/ our budget unfortunately. So far we've haven't had a bad experience w/ them.

yes, i know they nickel and dime you but again, it's cheaper to buy 3 tickets vs 6 for the family.

Congrats, I finally dropped the card becuz I rarely fly frontier now. I only kept the card as a means to keep the frequent flyer miles from expiring, but they seem to have put that on hold and I found a cheaper way to do it by doing erewards. If you have other barclay cards you can move the line of credit to other cards if you decide to close the card
