My Latest Approvals

Haven't posted much since my Chase Amazon approval last summer, so thought I would try to catch up. Shouldn't take long because there hasn't been much. Bought a new F-150 and used Corvette in October and had no time for other applications until last month. Decided it was time to go for the Redstone FCU VS since my activity had been small over the last year. Wasn't automatic, but did receive a denial for too many inquiries. Didn't think they were inquiry sensitive, so decided to call for a recon and get an explanation of what "too many inquiries" means. The first young lady I talked with was of little help and stated that I should wait for the later. The letter arrived and indicated "too many inquiries" was the reason, but my EX credit score was 809 and at the time of application I had 13 INQs. Didn't sit well with me, so called back and didn't even get to finish explaining my reason for calling before this young lady said she wanted to send my app back through for review. Within 2 hours I was approved for the max $10k limit and lowest APR (17%).

Next was the My GM Rewards VS from Marcus which gave an instant approval of $40k and 19.99% (TU - 819, 7 INQs). Got this with an SP approval.

Next approval was the FNBO FordPass Rewards VS instant approval for $13.4k and 22.74% (EX 809 (no lost points for Redstone INQ) and 14 INQs).

Final approval was the BMO Harris Bank Cash Back MC for $14k and unknown APR (TU - 819, 7 INQs).

Looking at the GreenState CU, but am out of state and will have to see how that works out. Don't know of anything else worth applying for right now, so back to the garden for me.

Congrats on all your successes! Curious to see if you're able to register the BMO account. I was also just approved for the cash back card, and I can't seem to figure out how to start the online account. When I go to register, there's a drop down box for type of account, but no choices in the box. If I put just the account number and cc number in the following boxes, the page says something is missing...... making me feel kinda stupid

Thanks. Did you just apply for the CC? I also got the checking and savings account. The CC already shows.

Adding that I was also approved for Baxter Credit Union (BCU) Cash Rewards VS for $25k and 16.4% APR along with the BCU PLOC for $30k and 10.99%.
