First CLI on 2 Citi cards in years….

Very first time I got CLI on two of my Citi Cards. Not that much but $2k on each card which is not bad given not much spending on them for the last 6 months...only a few bucks here and there.... I have Citi Rewards which was opened a few years back, and I also have Citi Custom card which was approved last year around the same time. I have done heavy spending on both cards in the past, but NEVER ever got any CLI...and finally I gave up any hope of getting any CLI....

However, just a few minutes ago I decided to try for CLI one more time if I could... given the fact that 4 days ago I got approved for Citi AA Elite card, to which I was receiving the targeted offer in the mail for the last one year. I did spend a little in the last 10 days on both these cards, almost $100 each of them, and let stay the balance there....I don't know what caused Citi to give me CLI this time but I believe its because the approval of my latest card with Citi because I can not think spending could have caused this CLI because in the past I did heavy spending, but got nothing...I dont know, but its a happy ending...So, I am not complaining...If ending is good then it doesnt matter...
