Hiya guys,

So for like once a month I try and sleep in and

don't do anything.Just rest.

But this morning it did not turn out that way.

Since I "moved" to my lake house at the Jersey Shore

I put out a few local CU apps to see what's up.

Well NJSCU called me at like 9:15 and blew that plan apart.

I talked to a wonderful lady ans we chatted about EVERYTHING.

Just a nice CR

WE finally got down to the CC application and she spoon fed me

how to get in.

I zapped $25.00 into a checking or savings account

and we went from there.

For brevitys sake I will just say that after 5 calls waking me up

and me being my chipper self we got this done.

Now a member and a CC holder at this CU.

Very geo restricted

It's been hard for me answering questions about why I'm not

working.....don't wanna start yet...and the usual

"why do you have 78 pulls on your Experian report"

Anyway she knew where I lived,my finances and all she needed

to make a decicision.

I got 30.5 K yesterday but this was sweeter,

only 5 branches and I got my foot in the water :-)

Congrats on another CU success story! LOL @ "why do you have 78 pulls on your Experian report"... Here I am thinking in the back of my head if I do one more app Synchrony is going to shut me down with my 7 pulls. LOL! Congrats again!!!

I've found that answering that question angers a lot of people. We are in a forum that teaches people successful ways to get and maintain their credit scores. Having a lot of HP's at any given time is not a great thing to do. Having 87 of them is down right silly.

The moderators and community leaders are right 99% of the time and people should take their advice.

Having said that and ,admitting I flat out like to app for credit when I don't need it,in some cases HP'S are not why someone with an established history of getting and maintaining credit are denied. If you take just the last 3 weeks I'm my credit world I have gotten 16K in CLI's and 44K in newly acquired trade lines. It's just not prudent to brag about it,but at the same time it is a fact, why I post pics with most everything. As far as Synchrony, they have closed all my accounts 3 times. 92K 69k and 58K they will shut you down. I just get back up again and get back on the horse 🐎

CONGRATS !!!!!

You arent kidding they are geofenced, you need live in 2 south jersey counties that i consider well south of the jersey shore. i live on the actual jersey shore and im geofenced out.

Good stuff but you say you live at the
Jersey Shore but have no idea what cities are in the 2 counties they accept membership from?????
Atlantic City is on the beach in south Jersey and that's in Atlantic County. Not to mention Ocean City and WildWood.The other county is Cape May... Al Alberts literally had a #1 song called "On the way to Cape May.it is the farthest county in SJ with many beaches. I live in a lake house in the capital of Atlantic County. My next door neighbor is the Mayor. I prefer private swimming and no seagulls

I hope you have fun in whatever place you say is the Jersey Shore 😉

I live further north on the jersey shore in neither of the 2 counties listed. they should keep in mind the jersey shore is many counties basically the whole state of new jersey on the atlantic coast. they consider the lowest south 2 counties the jersey shore and in my opinion they are way off. when i think of the jersey shore i immediately think of the traditional jersey shore around Asbury park.

official counties of the jersey shore according to their visitors website,

The Jersey Shore with 127 miles of coastline stretching from north to south includes the counties of Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, and Cape May

Lived in Tom River for 22 years....Not far from Atlantic City....Still goes to Atlantic City just to gamble in the rumble...Was there just yesterday...a favorite place during summer time...including Wildwood....

I go to AC 1 or 2 times a year, I like playing cards but just stay there a few hours. when my late girlfriend was alive and i was still working we went there 2 times a year and stay there a week at a time enjoying the boardwalk, beach, great food, etc, our favorite steak house was the knife and fork, a bit pricey but great service and food.

Now when i go there i no longer go to the boardwalk, i like the borgata in the marina area.

I live 1 plus hours away from there so i just drive there and drive home even though they offer me free rooms
