going on a credit union app spree - i dont care about chase anymore LOL

1. BECU - VISA SIG AND PLOC AND PERSOANL LOAN ... APPROVED

2. PESCU 1/2 Apprvoed - went for the founders card and PLOC (still waiting to see if i get the PLOC - will update)

3. Next up - TBD

edit: also just got a CLI on my NFUC flagship

Staying away from any CU that uses vantage scoring model rn as my vantage is like 100 points lower than my fico scores its crazy

I see you have BECU, so I figure you're in WA.

Have you considered WESCU, Sound CU, TwinStar CU or O Bee CU?

Last time I applied with WESCU, they used Experian, not sure if that's who they still use.

My recent scores from VantageSore have been between 30 and 80 points lower than my FICO 8s, so I feel your pain.

(No, that wasn't an accidental typo. They've even used that spelling in a recent VantageSore® news release.)

Hey New Yorker Fella...Congrat...I know its EXTREMELY hard and none to impossible for most Fico members to wait for Chase goodies...I was myself holding onto for the last 7-8 months when I finally gave in, but I am not regret because I got recently approved for 3 very good cards with a very good SL and high SUB...As much as I didn't want to be out of garderning, it was just not possible to pass-by those targeted offers...So, good-bye to Chase AGAIN for a very extended time, I guess...

Is it possible for you to provide a little bit more dp on getting an approval on BECU being an outsider of their geo-prints as this CU is notorious to put outsiders in their "financial crime unit"? I mean, how long it took you to join it? Whether it was sp/hp to join them? Did you apply credit card on the same day of becoming a member? From where they pulled? Did they pull for Chex too? What documents were requested, to join and to get all credit products? Any POI requested? How much was SL on your credit card and PLOC, if you are comfortable in sharing?

As for PSECU, any update?? Did they contact you back to request any document? If so, what documents were requested? Tnx

@Janneman becu didnt ask for any docs initally but when i asked for a PLOC and loan a week after getting the cc they wanted a copy of my paystub. they seem to lock accounts for out of state membes as a precaution but i was able to resolve it wihtin a couple of hours and had full use of my deposit accounts again . my cc was 12.5k and my loan was 15k

PSEC still waiting to hear on the PLOC - they ask for drivers license and 2 most recent paystubs
