Capital One's EO Came Through!!!!

Finally!!

I have had a Capital One Platnum card since May of 2011. It came with a $300 CL. Never an automatic CLI. In August 2013, after reading on this forum that people were having some luck with the EO, I gave it a shot. My CL was increased to a whopping $1k. Still didn't really use it. If I ordered someone on-line I would use it and as soon as the amount showed on my on-line statement, I would pay it off.

Several weeks ago, I got a letter from Capital One telling me I could upgrade to a Quicksilver One and get 1.5 rewards on ALL purchases.

I had been thinking about closing the account if I could not get an increase to my CL. It had been 6 months since the last (and only) one, but i hit the luv button a couple of different times right after the 6 month mark and increase due to having gotten one recently. So I figured I would call the EO again. If I did not get a noticable increase, I was going to close it. So the rep said lets go for the increase first and if that is satisfactory we would upgrade. I request $3,500 and a couple of days later I was asked for proof of income. About a week later (this past Friday), I faxed the documents.

Singled in to my account around 5pm today and there it was ........$3,500 CL. I went ahead and called my rep back before he could call me and upgraded to Quicksilver One. I know it has a $39 AF, but II am just thrilled to have gotten a good increase.

Just wanted to share..

Thanks 'guys' for leading me in the right direction all thes months. I read the new entries to these forums every night.

send the eo an email back asking them to remove the AF they should be able to do it for you
