Penfed Gold Visa $4,000 CLI

I saw that the credit line increase button was on my account and pulled the trigger and scored a $4,000 CLI on my Penfed Gold Visa card bringing my CL to $7,500, the same as my PCR. It took a while to show up in the account because they had some issue on the back end, but it's there now. I applied for the Platinum Rewards card but it's under review. We'll see what happens with that.

@SUPERSQUID I've had the card for a year. I got the CLI on the PCR card six months in. I got both cards at the same time.

When did you apply for the Platinum card?

I'm asking because I have a PCR & applied for a Gold card on Wed 7/12 through the pre-qualify link & it immediately went to review, where it has stayed since.

I have called to check on the status but all they can tell me is it's still in review.

I wonder if they are bacllogged with apps right now.

Yes, mine went to under review as well. I applied on 7/11. They had some issues prior to that. I applied for the CLI on 7/1. They sent me an email on 7/5 to say it was approved. It didn't show up in my account until yesterday. I called them last week and they said they were having issues with a batch of applications due to some technical problems.
