Affinity FCU Cash Rewards approval--Holy crap!

After falling prey to some posts about CUs that are fairly loose regarding inquiries (LOL/24) and new accounts (now 11/24 on EX) if you have good scores (770 EX), I unfroze and went for it, justifying it with the 5% AMZN cash back without requiring Prime and a decent SUB. DPs had SLs around $5-10k, which I was fine with but hoping for the latter because my OCD and gaming gene wanted my personal TCL at $300k even (yikes, I know). Anyway, paid my $10 cover charge and got an approval and loan number on the app site, but no CL or rate, and I couldn't get into the main site because my membership number hadn't generated yet. So I called this morning and talked to a very nice rep (another previous Affinity DP), who told me I will probably get my mem number emailed today, but that I was approved for $25k at 17%. Hence the immediate holy-crap thought--my second-highest personal-card CL ever and even better than the recent $15k from the FOTM BCU. I swear to God I'm gardening now until August 2024 when quite a few inquiries and new accounts will have dropped off the 24-month period. Well, except for CLIs, because Disco and Amex are irresistible, lol.

@reluctantgarden- opened the CC, LOC, Cash Back Debit Checking and Member Savings accounts during the same call from the service representative in Oct 2021. My Cash Back Debit account has never had a penny in it, while the Member Savings has only had the $5 minimum required. I did open and put money in a SmartSavings account when the rate jumped to 4% back in '22.
