Ally auto CLI

I was approved for the Ally 2% unlimited card 6 months ago and today, a few days after my statement cut, I got a notice that my CL has been increased by 400.00 to 2,900.00. Credit scores are in the 700 range.

I used the card heavily the first month, even maxing it out and paying it off, but the last few months I haven't used it at all until a few days ago.

Very glad they gave me a auto increase and hope to get another one after my 9th statement like others have who got the auto increase at 6 months.

Congratulations on the Auto CLI. I'm patiently waiting for my Ollo card to turn into an Ally card, since Ollo card holders can't manually request a CLI.

I started with Ollo which has since transitioned to Ally. As it was with Ollo, with Ally you cannot manually request a CLI. There's an option to ask for one and I don't know why because if you click on it, you get this meassage:

So you are still at their mercy when it comes to CLI's.

Ollo was supposed to convert to Ally on June 20th. I received my card in late June or early July. You should have already received your card. I'm hoping they eventually allow requests for CLIs.

nice! I used it heavily the first month but since then it has been in a sock drawer. Im in the 700s as well so maybe i will put some use to it and see if it grows from $500 to at least $3000. I will follow up at some point.

From what I understand, the transition was from dates where based off they type of Ollo card you held.

- 1st wave Ollo Optimum

- 2nd wave Ollo Rewards

- 3th wave Ollo Platinum (I'm have this card, and transition is supposed to start on Sep 19th).

Ok that makes sense. I think I had the Ollo Rewards. The online account transition on June 20th but I didn't receive the card until early July. I had quit using the card a couple weeks ahead of the date after having trouble with a couple of transactions processing. It may have been the card itself but I was concerned it might be their system. So I made a payment early over the phone. Now everything is working fine. I'm hoping the allow for CLI requests at some point. I'm at $2900 CL on this card right now.

I'm watching this transition from Ollo to Ally, hoping they switch to letting you request CLI. Not seeing it yet. My card transitioned on June 20th. Today I received an email that I was pre-approved for another Ally card at a $3000 SL. Is this their upper limit? I haven't seen anyone with an Ollo or Ally card with over a $3000 limit. Here's the email I received. My current Everyday Cash Back MC is at $2900 CL.

Here's the email. I'll pass on this on due to the low limit, and being at 4/24 for new accounts. Waiting until early next year for another card. Would be better if they just double the CL on my current card. The zero % for 15 months would be nice if the credit limit was higher.
