Fidelity Rewards VISA Signature APPROVED

Well after recieving another Fidelity Rewards VISA Signature mailer inviting me to apply, I spend the last 2 weeks going over if I should apply or not. Truth is an acquaintance of mine posted about retirement plan about two years ago on Facebook and his post mention and showed potential earning of a Fidelity roth IRA with and without the Fidelity Rewards. Needless to say that post and others he later posted, inspired me to get my act together financially.

Now I been in the garden for about 9 months now, waiting to get until 5/24 so I can join the Chase eco-system, however after reciveing my 2nd Fidelity Rewards VISA Signature mailer I couldn't shake the idea of biting the bullet and just applying, but for two weeks I ready to pass up on the offer and throw the mailer in the trash.

However, thanks to @SouthJamaica who pointed out that the Fidelity card is greater priority for me (in the long game) than getting in with Chase.

So I unfroze TU and EQ and pulled the tigger, after the longest 30 seconds of the application processing, I was APPROVED! $23.6K I was expecting a SL from like $2-4K, not $23.6K, that is over 3.5 times higher that my current highest limit with the apple card. I'm in total shock!!!

FYI - The sign-up offer is 0% APR for 18 billing cycles. (I really dont carry balances so that is a moot point).

- Is was the 2nd mailer I recieved. The 1st offer has SUB of $150. Link--> Fidelity offer with Bonus. Looking for Data Points

@NoMoreDebt pointed out the pattern of Elan offering a SUB, than 0% APR, back to SUB, etc, etc.

DP: They pulled EQ (FICO8=0 point loss/ VS3= 2 point loss)

I have a slightly used mailer, but not sure if it will work for you two 😆.

....but really thank you everyone who has posted, once I get card in hand it will really change my spending habits with the major change being my Cap1 QS1 (currently catch all card) will banished to sock drawer.

Now I'm thinking about apping for this card vs the WF Reflect. Only a 3 month difference for my large purchase but I have my ROTH with fidelity.

Well Fargo also offened me the WF Reflect (21 months 0% APR) card a few months ago as well, I didn't take the offer since I don't carry balances and their was no real perk once after 22 months. If you get targeted with an offer from Fidelity, I would look into it.
