Venture X Approval

I travel extensively and currently use:

Amex Hilton Aspire, Amex Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant, Amex Platinum, Citi AAvantage World Elite Mastercard, and Chase Sapphire Reserve. Decided to give Capital One Venture X a try. Seems it gets a lot of positive reviews on the tube.

Had to unfreeze all my credit reports because I couldn't get a difinative answer as to which one C1 pulls. They ended up pulling Equifax. Was approved for $20,000. I will put the $4k on it and get my points and give it a shot.

This brings my personal credit limits up to $245,000 not including my AMEX platinum which I know is at least $50,000. Also have a Chase Ink business card with a $36,500 limit.

Some data points:

Credit Scores: Fico 8 Equifax 820, Transunion 828, Experian 830. Exciting to see these higher numbers. My auto fico hit 845 and my credit card fico hit 845 as well.

Utilization 2% - Never carry a balance but sometimes I miss a report date. Put about $15k-$20k a month on cards.

Payment history 100%-No lates or collections

Average Age is a weakness for me; about 2y9m.

Annual Income - $600,000

Total Accounts - 31 which includes pretty every type of credit use

Think I pretty much done with personal credit cards. Can't think of any others I want. Will probably start to get more business cards.

Congrats on the approval and nice SL! If all CRAs were unfrozen you definitely got a hard pull on all 3, even if it isn't showing yet. Capital One will always do a triple pull.
