Tbh I shouldnt have applied(trying to cut down on my number of cards) but meh, Ill use it for all my apple pay usage. Right now mainly grocery store/dining and will move to just all non dining apple pay once I PC to the United Club next year. Since the Club doesnt have grocery as a category.

Some people hate on it but honestly it's a good thing to have in your back pocket for 2% wallet, 3% certain retailers, CL padding, and offers if you're lucky. It remains more useful than some others I've acquired for SUBs.

I only use the Airline credits, Uber doesnt exist in my rural area, I have TSA pre/GE so I dont need clear(local airports dont even have clear anyway), I dont use any service on the digital entertainment credit, Eqinox doesnt exist, walmart + i dont use. So that makes the AF $495, I dont fly enough currently to make it work, I also dont have enough yearly spend to make the Gold + Plat combo work. I also dont like the direction Amex is going on their other high end cards.

The apple card is my current apple pay/grocery card and the cfu is now my dining card/catchall card as I am going to PC it to the CSR as a general travel card works better than just an airline card. If amex had something other than flights as a multiplier(not counting portal stuff) then i would still consider it, but i cant make that AF work vs the CSR's $250 effective. So i would be dropping down to $550(250 effective) from $945(745 effective).

Now if i flew enough to make the Platinum work, I would only have the CS Plat for the 1.1cpp cash redemption.
