Hello MyFicoers,

It's been a little while since I posted. I thought I would share my success in getting an instant CLI on my NFCU Platinum account. An instant CLI from 8100 to 16000. 0% utilization on both my NFCU cards.

My journey with this card and NFCU in general has been dreadfully slow. Much slower than any creditor, however, they've been the most generous. I've had this card for nearly 3 years before Navy started giving me increases. Now, all increases on both my cards have been instant to date.

Basic info at the time of CLI:

EQ F9 761
TU F9 777
TU F8 801

Overall utilization 4% and below depending on if I let statements report a balance or not.

All in all, for those that Navy has been slow to open the doors to, don't give up. NFCU will eventually warm up to you.

This gives me hope! I've had a nRewards card that graduated at 6 months on the dot and has been a cashRewards card for a year now. The two CLIs I've ever gotten on the card have only been for $1,500 each time.
