Glutton For Punishment New Synchrony Approval

Good afternoon all,

spending 4 days at the Tropicana for a change of pace.

So I have not been very focused on Credit as I once was,

Me and DD are down the lake house and had just come from

but today I wanted to see if Synchrony finally would let me back in

after shutting me down three times before.

Lost 89K then about 70K then 58K

Googled searched pre approvals for synchrony cards

and found that they now listed them just about all together

on one page.

I picked Care Credit because it seems they were usually

generous with limits.

I did the pre approval on my phone and got 18.5K
I'm not tech savvy so I couldnt save the screen shot

so I did it on my laptop.

That would have cost me 2K as they only pre approved

me for 16.5 K on that.

Was not going to do that so just took a pic

of the email.

They pulled TU

59 HP's on that CRA

789 TU score Fico 8

1% useage

very high 6 digit TCL

They work in net income numbers

on these aps

so I put 5K a month

Thats an underestimate but I usually operate that way.

DTI 8% maybe

I just have a self lender loan for

credit scoring purposes.

Only significant data point is I used my Shore house address

for this ap. All my other Synchrony cards were opened from my Pa address.

Congrats and above data point is IMPRESSIVE in itself. I remember freaking out one year when I hit low double digit teens. :-)

BTW, I have read a lot about Synchrony wiping out individuals total lines overnight in what seems like random acts. Some hypothesized that it was related to lack of usage. Some in the past noted that it happens close to "earnings" as a way to pad their books before reporting to the streets. Has anyone figured out why they really do it? I was considering getting the Sam's Club card for the DW.
