U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite Approval 🤑

I was planning to app for Apple CC, but in last minute decided to go with this card now that I'm using Apple Pay!
Initially got the 7 to 10 day message and then couple of hours later received an approval email for 17K SL.

The more I read about this CC the more it seemed a better choice. The $325 credits would make this a $75 AF for 3% with mobile wallet! That alone is a great deal even if you're not calculating the travel and everything else.

Congrats! It's a fantastic card (although I do really miss those WiFi credits that offset the other $75). I am 0/3 on my US Bank apps going pending. Glad you only had to wait a couple of hours. It was agonizing waiting for the email on the Altitude Connect a couple of years ago! Be sure to set up RTR if you want to maximize those rewards. You may be surprised at some of the charges it prompts for a 4.5% redemption. For places where you can use mobile wallet, the card is very tough to beat and it's of course completely uncapped.

I think the initial AF scares people, but it can pay for itself very quickly.

I thought about calling them for reconsideration on SL, but not sure if they would pull another report!

When I got my first card from them, it was during that crazy time when you didn't know what the limit was until it arrived and a bunch of us got Cash+ cards with $500 limits. I called recon and did not get another pull, but many others did. I would probably give it a little time and take your chances with the CLI button. I've been about 50/50 on getting pulls with that (unfortunately no way to know beforehand).

Don't call in it will be a hard pull to get increase. Put lot of spend over the next six months pay balance down each month, then in the seventh month call then ask for increase it most likly will be a 5K increase with soft pull then wate another seven months then ask for increase this will take you to 25K. To go over 25K then it will be a hard pull. Good luck have fun.

I'll just sit back and let it grow organically! 17K SL is decent. Don't want to waste another Experian HP on CLI, but I am looking at US Bank Cash+ CC I could certainly use 2 of the rare 5% categories...

The Card arrived today, nice shiny metal card! Not in the big box like others, but in a nice folder type. Probably better for environment.

Now I'm itching for the Cash+ Card...

Now I'm itching for the Cash+ Card...

They make a good team... I have two Cash+ cards to go with my AR.

Between the three (Cash+ x2 plus AR) I get either 4.5% or 5% on the majority of my spend. For anything left over I'm usually able to use Discover, Citi Custom Cash, and Freedom (x2) cards to fill in the gaps. Actually I'd probably be able to do just fine with just those seven cards, but where's the fun in that?

@JustinVincent Thank you 🙏. They pulled Experian 797, inquiries 0/12 (3/24) and no new accounts in year and half. No checking/saving accounts with US Bank. Got approved for HD card with them 2 years ago. All cold app.
