Yesterday, I received an offer for the Wells Fargo Active Cash Visa with a $200 SUB in the mail. I was excited to get this offer as I used to have this card with a $5K limit but had it closed by grantor due to lack of use before I was tracking my credit and appreciated the positive impact of having this card and CL.

I've been working on improving my scores and have seen growth thanks to new cards, CLIs, and also being added as an authorized user to a few cards, which had a lot of positive impact despite these actually being cards with low limits. So, that improvement seems like it contributed to Wells Fargo wanting me back.

What's even better is that I was approved for the card with a $10,000 CL! I did include an authorized user during my application process, so I am curious if this influenced the CL I was given. I do also have a bank account with Wells Fargo.

Now, I'm going to enjoy this card, try to increase its credit limit, and probably hold off on additional new cards for a while. Next on my list are a Discover card and an Amex without any annual fee once I get my scores up more!

Adding an AU during the app has no bearing on that $10,000 that you were granted.
