What credit report does macys card pull and how long does it take for them to respond to increase request online?

You have the card and want a CLI?

They say they will HP but like 98% of the time they use the Credit report that is on file.

You can do chat online and ask for both Macys store and Macy's amex if you have it and they can tell you instantly.

If you have $1k now, I ask for $5k and they will instantly counter back.

If you have $300, I would ask for at least $2500.

I have the regular card. I requested online a credit increase. My credit limit is 2500. Its actually been 2500 for at least 3 years. I havent really ask for a credit increase for awhile. I opened account up in 08. My credit score is 654 if they pull experian.

I received a message, macy increased my credit limit to 3300. From 2500 to 3300. I will take it.

I have had the card for almost a year and I only used it once and asked last Friday for an increase. They bumped it up from $800 to $1500 without a HP, yit doesn't really seem that hard. I think if you use the card more, then you would be likely to get more. I just really don't shop there much, but it is nice to have the thing open adding to the AAoA. I know I will get around to using it one day.

i was kinda silly and didn't know anything when i opened macy's store card.. i didn't even have an ssn. They saw me using boa's 123 card and just really encouraged me to try even though i told her i didn't have a social. Not sure why without an ssn, they could still somehow retrieve some sort of credit report (i thought i wouldn't have any).. i remember they pulled EX for mine.. and surprisingly the score was 761 ( i only had one card and like half year credit history at that time... and i didn't have a social)

Also note that you can request an increase every four months with Macy's. There have been debates on this site re: HP vs SP. I have been told they do an HP but never have with me. My last increase was requested online, going from $3K to $5K. I have also seen comments where people claim they have better luck with higher limits with online requests as opposed to calling in.
