Bank of America Cash Rewards approval !

Did the online app and was given the dreaded 30 day message . Called the number 10 minutes later to check status and as soon as I entered my social I was connected to a live rep who started asking me questions to verify my identity ( I figured I would be approved athis point ) , she put me on hold and cme back in 30 seconds and said congragts you approved with a starting limit of $1000 ! Wish the limit was higher but I can deal I guess .

Is this card hard to get , whats anyones experiences with this card?

What were your stats when you applied like util, hp , aaoa etc?

$0 balance on all other cards

AAoA 9 months ( have some that are older but new ones have dragged it down)

just pulled my TU on here today 684

Yep 2 four year old medical collections , and few paid charge offs from 2007-2008

That is probably what is holding you back , have you attempted to GW those charge offs, or are you going to wait them to fall off.

Just going to wait for them to fall off , sailed the GW ship before to no avail .

Congrats!! I was denied the card due to too many new accounts (I have a ton). It seems like a nice card to have in my opinion.

I got the dreaded 10 day message when I applied too. I was looking for a recon number when I found you could check the status online. Not even 10 minutes had passed when I checked and found out I was approved. I got a bit lower limit than I thought I would; $2000, since the day before I was approved for $4000 from Cit and $10,000 from Sallae Mae. I know why, so no big deal. They don't like me. I used to have a secured card with them which I paid off and closed. Later I burned them on two accounts, so I thought I could never get back in. Funny thing is, the old secure card started showing up on my report when I opened those other two accounts. It is actually still there reporting as good for the time I never had it. I am hoping that the same thing happens again, it will so boost my AAoA if it does. This is one reason I wanted to get another card with them, just in case it does! Keeping my fingers crossed!

It's a decent card if you have a boa checking account to help get the 10% bonus. But the sallie Mae card is way better if you are a low spender on gas and supermarket.

That is the first credit card I ever got. Te situation is a bit different here. I think this card is easy to get. With fair score or no history(but with a good standing boa checking account), you will get approved.. A lot intenational student in my school has gotten this card fair easily without ssn
