OMG Finally back in with American Express aka AMEX

Why do so many of these start out as I was just fooling around. Let me start by saying back around Covid I was getting behind ... my boyfriend got sick and I was making up his lost income. Then I had reduced hours at work. I then signed up with a debt settlement and they told me to stop paying. Unbeknownst to me I didn't know that American Express doesn't negotiate. So, after most all but 1 baddie were paid. A year ago I was able to fully pay them back. This is without knowing the offering the Optima card and you can't do after the fact.

Tonight, like many times before I did the preapproval pull for the Delta Miles. I have many cash back cards. I slowed down on trying this... I had been thrilled with my FCU $8400 approval 3 months ago. My score jumped recently. I'm somewhere around 680ish but newer ones have me at 700 plus ish on Experian.

It's not a huge start limit. BUT I'm back in with my Member since 2016 for 1k.

Oddly based on your results I went to the main Amex Prequal site and no offers as usual. So I instead went to the Delta Site and did the Prequal for the same blue card and got approved for 2K! I really didn't need a Delta card but thanks for the heads up and getting my in with AMEX

That is awesome sauce. 👌 I'm happy because I can eventually get their other cards then. Hoek we get there at the same time.
