Really nothing fancy.

It was just that I thought I'd need another 5% gas card. Also thought I would try a Comenity CC as I was running out of other cards to apply for. I know that Comenity gets a bad rep. So far I have had no issues. They originally gave me a pretty high initial SL.

Thanks @M_Smart007 for spelling it out. Did you see @Jnbmom post on a Comenity AAA card today too? What's up with AAA? I agree with you, bad wrap and for what? I mean they brought us the Shopping Cart Trick....gotta love'em Ahhhh, those were the days. I still get those pop-ups Besides Comenity aka Bread Financial is a solid bank, I think they've proved that time and time again. I've had cards of theirs since the early 1990's (Goody's to name one) and for the past few years GoodSam's VS has been "old reliable". Also, they have a hidden loan, by invitation only, that rocks! So yeah, why not have at least one of theirs in your wallet or sock drawer.

I believe @Jnbmom has the Daily Advantage (Comenity offers two types of cards) which gives 5% on Groceries (I forget the spending cap) I remember all the SCT threads. Also remember how many people got cards closed!

Yeah, I was just comparing them on Breads website. It seems like the spending cap on one of them was $7k ( I think?) CRS! I remember closures too but mostly Synchrony. The catch with Comenity during the height of the SCT hoopla was some MF'ers were getting popped with a hp even with just the last 4 digits of SS#. Then some were straight up denials, some were $200 approvals, approvals for sc instead of the mc/visa version offered or worse, hp'd & denial. That kinda cooled our jets. (2020 aftermath)

First Congratulations on very cli and great credit limit. I have the Bread cashback card with 10,350 limit which just got increase last month of 2.5K, the only problem I been having is ther web site and app are veryflaky every couple of weeks it ask for me to enter my contact info and some times it said I need to reenter contact info and do face Id again. If you don't mind could give some data points such how much do you spend and what income did you put down. Again congratulations on great limit.
