AMEX PRG Approved on Recon!

Original application on 4/15 denied. Called Friday for reconsideration after my last baddie fell off EX. Got approval e-mail yesterday. Maybe now I can chill out and make it to bronze spade My AAoA will thank me though, once this hits my CR's.

Thanks, I've been trying to get in with AMEX for the past year since my scores got over 650. Not 100% sure what my EX is right now but I'm guessing ~680.

It's crazy because all 3 of my CR's are exactly the same now, and my TU is 733, EQ ~658 and EX around ~680. What gives? I should be > 700 across the board :/

This is my first, but I was an AU on my dad's so my MSD should be 1977! I just got a UPS alert, the card should be here today, so I'll know this evening.

It will backdate to the year you were added as an AU not the year your dad got the card.

So I've heard. In my case, the main reason for denial was an old medical collection. As soon as it fell off, I asked for recon, as it was inside 30 days.

Congrats on our approval! I just don't see how this works. If I add my son who is 18 to my Amex account that had a member since date of 1984, how can he get a card that says member since 12 years before he was born???
