I'm BACK, baby! (Elan Max Cash Preferred 15k)

After getting screwed by Flagstar (turned everyone's Elan Max into generic trash), I was approved for another Elan Max Cash Preferred!

Instant approval.
15k limit. Interestingly, this is almost exactly my current balance with the issuing bank.
Bank stuff:
- I don't want to say the partner bank.
- 3-month banking relationship with 15k balance, not much direct deposit activity but 4k in the 30 days before the application.
- I applied online through the bank. Customer service said that, if I was refused or pending, I could do recon through the bank or directly with Elan. They said that Elan was sometimes "more lenient" if I go through the bank.
- I did also have a relationship with US Bank but I don't think that matters.
No identity documents requested.
Credit stuff:
- New accounts: 0/6, 2/12, 4/24
- Age:
  - AoNA 6m
  - AoOA 11y
  - AAoA 3y
- Inquiries:
  - Pulled TransUnion.
  - Experian was frozen.
  - Equifax was maybe pulled, I don't think so. I think CK will tell me tomorrow and I'll update.
  - TransUnion: 0/6, 1/12
  - Equifax: 0/6, 2/12
  - Experian: 0/6, 2/12
  - All bureaus combined: 0/6, 3/12
- Income between 100k and 150k/year, rent 700/month.
- Utilization: 1%
- No bad stuff

I'm in the middle of a 2-card spree, I'll update you what happens with the other one.

I used to have an Elan Max, the issuer sold their portfolio to FNBO, FNBO converted them all to a crappy generic rewards program. So I applied for another Elan from another issuer.

That's nice. I am glad that you are able to get this card with good SL...I have two of them for many years from a local bank..same card- Elan Max Cash Preferred...
