Kays approval WOW!!

Decided on a whim to apply for a Kays card because I was thinking of a nice gift for the wife for mother's day and was instantly approved for $5100 ! I was expecting like $1500 or something . Not going to spend any where close to that for a gift but a $5100 trade line should help my future credit limits I would think .

What say the hive?

Before you app for any more credit let 1 card report 1-9% of its CL, this maximizes your FICO, with all cards at 0 it scores as if you were using approx 30% of your available credit.

Use it or lose it. They were quick to shut down the line when my DH didn't use it for about one year. Of course, YMMV.

I got approved for $4800 in April with a 648 score
