Chase Sapphire Preferred

Completing the Chase Trifecta has been a goal of mine for years, ever since I started my rebuild years ago. Today I pulled the trigger on the final piece of the puzzle, the CSP, and was approved with an 18,700 SL and middle of the road interest rate. Chase double pulled me again, EX and TU. Technically this completes the Chase Quadfecta for me and was the last card on my wish list. Now I'll return to the garden for the forseeable future. Current stats are below; feel free to ask for any other DPs you'd like.

One question...where do I enter my account information for travel partners (e.g. Southwest, Marriott, etc.)? Do I have to wait until I transfer points to them?

Click the Rewards just like the other UR points earning cards are located.

Pick the CSP from the list.

Click on Travel on the horizontal menu bar and then select the Transfer points to partners.

There ya go!

I also have been working on my Tri/Quadfecta, and currently have the same lineup as you do.

I plan to product change one of my Ink cards to the Ink Preferred next year however, as I feel it gives a better return than the CSP. (I have enough CL now to qualify for the change on one of the two Ink cards I have... most likely the Ink Cash, then either get a new Ink Cash and a new sign up bonus, or PC the Unlimited over to Cash.) At that point I will also close the CSP... although I could open a new one for a new sign-up if I wanted at that point, it's unlikely since I feel my lineup would be fairly "tight" then.

Since your lineup is currently identical, I'm curious why long-term you would prefer the CSP to the CIP?

For me, it's the online grocery category and the $50 travel credit each year with the CSP. I already get a higher internet/cable/phone multiplier with the Business Cash card vs. CIP and my shipping spend is wrapped through a separate service that doesn't code as shipping.

Ah, bear in mind that the $50 credit is hotel credit, not generic travel credit. I am highly unlikely to use the card for hotels in the near future, since P2 is fairly Marriott exclusive and we use the Marriott cards for those (AmEx Marriott biz card, and dropped Marriott Brilliant last year with plans to upgrade a Chase Marriott card to the Ritz in a month). Might be worth remembering to pay $50 on the CSP though on one, just to use it up. Hmm. Thanks for the reminder.

Good clarification on the hotel credit. Incidentally I'm considering a Marriott Bonvoy card down the road at some point to complement my travel setup. I spend more on groceries than I do travel in a given year, hence why I prioritize a grocery category multiplier (e.g. CSP) over travel points.
