Just wanted to throw this data point out there for everybody on the chase 5/24 rule. Im currently at 10/24, applied today and received an Instant Approval for 25K.

I've read they're more lenient with co-branded cards. Congratulations on your approval!

Being under 5/24 on the Amazon card in particular hasn't been thing for a while now.

Pre-approved through Amazon.com. No pre-qualification on Chase.com. Honestly surprised—I opened 3 new accounts in the last 2 months, all reported as new accounts before the application, and was already at 10/24 before the Amazon approval. Members 1st with a $10k Sl soft pull approval, PenFed with $10k Sl, and Amex BCP with $3k Sl. Then Amazon came through with a $25k Sl instant approval. My score fluctuates around 775-815, my income is $185k, and I have $150k in credit with 3-9% reported utilization.

Which others come to mind for being at 5/24 and getting approvals with Chase? And does getting approved for this card mean I'll be at 6/24 if I'm at 5/24 now?

Other co-branded cards may have different underwriting rules, I would assume.

Yes, if 5/24 and add a new card, you'd be at 6/24.
