Finally...Navy Federal CLI

Ive been trying for over a year to get a limit increase on my navy credit card and have always been denied with a maximum limit message each time I would apply. Three weeks ago I was denied yet again but I decided to go for it again today and got a instant approval I request a 21k limit which is a 4600 limit increase. I am shocked and if I had known I would have went for the max of 8k but I'm just so very glad I finally got my first increase with Navy Federal. WooHoo!

Congrats on your increase.

However, in the future should always go for the current maximum CLI request of 8k. Navy will always counter as much as they're willing to give. Unless you're applying for a new revolving account with Navy. Then you should always apply for the new account before requesting a CLI on existing accounts.
