UBS Infinite Visa Approval

Card: UBS Infinite Visa

CL: $10K

Bonus: 25K UBS points after $3K spend in 3 months

After months of digging, calling, and eventually applying, UBS approved me for my Infinite Visa card w/ 10K spend limit.

05/06/24 - Called UBS Financial Services - who tells me I need an RMA account or a financial rep/wealth management account to open CC with UBS. I ended up getting forwarded to UBS Wealth Services only to be hung up. I called a local affiliated UBS Wealth Services in nearby city and they want me to open up a wealth management account ($250K minimum AUM @2.1% fee - making an effective $6K/yr cc fee). I call around other offices and it's clear that $250K is a hard limit for them

05/10/24 - Called UBS Financial Service again to open an RMA account. Get connected to the Weehawken office. They ask for my statements, DL, etc but don't hear anything back for few weeks after sending those materials. I also get a voicemail saying they can't justify opening an RMA account.

07/30/24 - I post here in myFICO forums for getting help opening the card Thank you @northway , @swankytiger .

08/02/24 - I call the UBS Financial Services, ask for the credit card application.

08/07/24 - Send the application in.

08/14/24 - They call me to complete the application (am I related to UBS, support terrorists regimes, etc)

08/26/24 - Get a ding from Transunion about a hard credit pull

08/30/24 - Card arrives on my doorsteps in a discreet fedex packaging

I'm curious, why do you want this card? What's a RMA? Is it worth opening the account to get it?

Do you have a copy of the application? Also what made you want this card? Trying to see the benifts before going thru this misson to apply lol

You need to request your own application from UBS. They won't accept photocopies or scanned copies of the application form.
