Amazon Store Card CLI

I poked the Synchrony bear and he said it tickled...

Have a $156 balance remaining on a 12-month 0% interest payment plan and it's probably been 10 months or so since my first CLI on this card. Their app shows my VS4 at 781. Just hit the luv button, asked them to raise my $2,700 limit to $7,000, instant approval. I probably should've asked for $10G but, ya know, Synchrony... At least I'll still have the possibility of a future CLI to look forward to on this card.

This is an interesting point. I was not aware that the Amazon Store Card's maximum limit is $10k. I'm sitting there now and every six months when I asked for a CLI they come up with some reason why they can't grant it rather than mentioning it is the max. (Ie too many inquiries when I had 3 or too many credit cards with balances when my utilization was below 1 percent).

They typical did word the denial for above $10,000 with like: 'You have reached the maximum allowable limit for this card' verbiage.

FYI, the Lowes is $35,000.
