US Bank Smartly Approval Thread

Seeing this as the FOTM, I going to set-up this thread to corral the Approvals for this card.

Pulled EQF 800 (FL)

0/6, 1/12, 3/24 with 1% UTI

(I opened a Smartly Savings account at the same time and plan to fund it to get the 3% tier.)

It's been a long while since I've posted here, but this one was too good to pass up

And looks like they loosened up requirements because I thought I'd get a denial.

Inquiries: 1/6, 6/12
New Accounts: 0/6, 5/12
Instant approval online
No idea which CRA they used as I haven't recieved any pings but these were my scores (TU 789, EQ 800, EX 770)
10 total active cards
State: CT

As soon as the card was approved it prompted me to open a savings accounts - dropped in $25 and got my online account setup. Looking forward to building this one up

Congrats! I thought US Bank had a certain territory you had to be in at one point (maybe I am wrong) and see you are in CT. I am in RI and this is pretty tempting if I can, indeed, apply for it.

They've definitely relaxed their approval underwriting because I'm at 4/6, 4/12

was hoping for a limit of at least 5k seeing as how it's a visa siggy, but I needed a 2% catch all anyhow

pulled eq in florida, instant approval

Not a fan of vertical card designs but I kinda like this one

They are odd with borders, but those don't apply to credit cards. Cards are open to everyone nationally and once you have a card you can sign up for any of their other products.

I cold apped because I didn't see it when I applied but if you click the learn more button there is a preapproval link at the top of the page

My only intention was to see if I was pre-qualified. I checked and I was. No CL was disclosed with the pre-qual. Then, when I saw I was one click away from a real app, I impulsively clicked it.

Approved for $17,000 CL

My EQ and TU are in the low to mid 800s.

My EX has 1 medical collection that I refuse to pay so I think it is in the high 700s. No other baddies.

$160k / yr income

$2k mortgage

Zero prior relationship with USB before this

Not sure what my X/6 or X/12 or X/24 is but I think it is around 0, 2, 4ish

Always super low utilization

I clicked on the button to open my Smartly Savings Account after the approval but the screen went white. I'll try to do that tonight.

I'm still researching where/how I'll invest $100k with USB. I'd like to earn 4.5% minimum with no/low risk. Open to ideas (perhaps a topic for a different thread).

I'm super stoked!!!!

I told a coworker who often carries balances and he was approved for 2k

hes super excited for the 12 months 0% intro in time for the holidays.

When you're logged into your account, there is a search bar at the very top of the screen (on desktop) - it's an AI bot.

In there type "whats my card APR".

It will then pull up your accounts and ask which account you're referring to. Pick your card and the box will pop up showing your APR
