Applied a few days ago because I saw the 200$ promo and I have a big order to place and that'll bring it down to nearly nothing. Anyways hit the apply button knowing I burned them in the BK in 2019 and that they've denied my application every single time I have applied since the BK lol. It wasn't an immediate denial. I was kinda shocked but just figured they would be sending an email soon. I called the app status line to see if that would tell me I was denied and it said two weeks. I said HMM let me not get my hopes up because I know they are still upset about what I owed them. But I remembered every time I have had this card (Before the BK I opened and closed this card multiple times.) That my approvals for it were always 2 week message before it was approved. Well I just got the email it was approved! I know it is too much to hope for but I wonder with time and now forced gardening if this will open the door for a non cobranded Chase card soon. Either way very happy to be back in with Chase and I may now let this be my daily driver for the next few months.

I burned Chase in a 2016 BK and was just approved 2 weeks ago for the same card with a $10K SL. I have the Amazon store card through Synchrony ( 1 1/2 years) but my CL on that is $1800. I was doing my usual shopping and same as you, the promo popped up for me. I was extremely hesitant to hit the apply button but I was also alerted from Credit Karma that I had outstanding approval odds. So I let the credit gods do their thing and was instantly approved.

I had continued to maintain a checking and savings with them so I'm thinking that played a part in it (BK is still on my reports). Also I have never seen even offers for cards when I logged into my bank account and another reason I had apprehension about applying. My scores are not bad but the BK keeps them down. I'm too hoping that this opens the door for future opportunity for non-cobranded cards with them. At this point with now having the Chase Amazon Visa I can wait it out for the BK to fall off and try with them after it's gone.
