Approved for Discover it Cash Back Card 4 month's after chapter 13 discharge !

Was leary after 4 denials to pre-qualify for discover 4 months after chap 13 discharge. Finally I was approved for a 6k credit limit (wooohoo). I will admit that before hand I applied and was approved for the following cards.

* Ally bank Everyday Mastercard: $2.5k

* Cap 1 Savor One: $4k

* Target Red Card: $900 (just received haven't activated)

* Discover It Cash Back: $ 6k (5am pre-qual tool)

SN: I have yet to be able to get a pre-approval for a unsecured NFCU card only the secured was offered. (Have Chk and Sav)

Now I just need to sit back and keep utilization low or carry no balance and monitor.

It's widely acknowledged here, and elsewhere that NFCU pre-approvals are very unreliable. That's a nice approval from Discover considering the BK. Congratulations.

Congratulations, I'm going through the same. My file date was 11/30/18 and dischage wasn't finalized till 3/23/24. Since the discharge I've been able to get the following but I'll wait a few months before applying for anything else.

Capital One Quicksilver $1K
US Bank Cash+ $500
TD Bank Secured Card (going in tomorrow not sure how much I'll put down)
Ally Everyday Cashback $2.3K
During my Ch 13 I was able to get the same $900 for Target Circle Card.

Had opensky and credit one cards which I've closed just this week.

Correct.
I got approved for both my Navy cards when the prequal only offered thw nsecured card.

It most likely won't show up on google. If you are referring to the NFCU hack. During early hours humans aren't doing the approvals. It's rumored that the approval chances are higher durning those hours. Seems to be true as it worked for me. Since April I actually tried the pre-approval tool and it only offered the Nrewards card. I just pulled the trigger and applied for the Cash rewards card (Green card) in 12/24 and was approved for the Green rewards plus (If CL is more than 5k you get the plus. If CL is under 5k regular card. SN.. it was 1 year post discharge.
