I'm finaly in with AMEX. I have tried for years but was always only able to get AMEX co branded cards from my banks and never an actual AMEX from American Express themselves.&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Well yesterday that finally&nbsp;changed. I checked the pre approval site at to my surprise I was finally&nbsp;pre approved for a few different&nbsp;cards. I ended up choosing&nbsp;the AMEX Gold because most of my spend comes from dining and groceries. I already have a great 5% card for gas from USAA so this helps round out my daily driver cards.&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I got the 75K points SUB with 6k in spend over 6mo. The only thing I was disappointed&nbsp;in, is that they no longer offer the white gold card.
