In March 2024, I applied for this card, and I got the 10-14 days message. BK chapter 7 was discharged in 2022, and I had less than two years with my new credit cards.

I have a membership and car insurance policy with AAA and wanted this card so badly. So...

A year later, on March 1, 2025, I decided to give it another try, and at the end of the application, I got a message saying, "Almost done; we need a little more information to proceed. call 1-855-224-4943." The rep told me that I needed to send a copy of my driver's license, SSC, utility bill, or account bank statement to accountprotectionverification@breadfinancial.com, which I was familiar with because I was previously approved for the Bread Rewards AMEX. I sent the documents the same day. I had the option to mail the docs, but it would take way too long for Comenity to get them and upload them into the system. I called again on March 5th, first thing in the morning, and the rep told me that my application was approved for $4,400 CL. I wished the limit was a bit higher, but taking into consideration that on Dec 24 I was approved for the Bread Rewards AMEX for $6,100 CL, it was not bad. They told me that the card should arrive within 5 business days.

Comenity may not have the best customer service, and they may ask you to send docs to make sure you're the one applying for their cards, but I'm happy they are giving me another chance with decent credit lines when other banks don't.

They pulled from Equifax only. I live in PA.

They also pulled a soft inquiry to check my identity through Experian.
