JetBlue...Instant Approval!

Hi everyone, it's been a while! I wanted to share this "victory" and hopefully it might help someone in the community.

I haven't applied for a credit card in over 2.5 years, but decided to go for the JetBlue card since I have a few trips coming up this year.

Plus, I wanted to grab the 70k bonus

I didn’t pull all my credit scores before applying because I thought Barclay used EX (I have the EX app; FICO of 747).

They actually pulled TU.

Through the JetBlue app, I was instantly approved for a $25,300 credit limit with 20% APR on the JetBlue Plus World Elite Mastercard! 😊

I contacted Barclay to request an expedited card, but they refused since it’s my first card with them.

However, they assured me that I can transfer any trip purchases from the card I used to the JetBlue card once it arrives.

For reference, here are my Credit Karma Transunion FAKO details:

Score: 765
Overall debt: $70k ($30k in credit cards, $40k in student loans)
Overall utilization: 15%
Total credit lines: $178,550
Inquiries: 1
No derog's

Thank you that is good , Barclay's gave you 25K limit with income of 95K and owing More then 50K, they have been loosening up you now can request credit increases soft pulls now.

No problem! I truly am shocked that they extended that amount with my current debt. They’ll be paid soon but couldn’t wait because of the bonus 😅 I was hesitant to apply seeing others here with “perfect” profiles get denied.
