Citi Custom Cash Approval

This afternoon I noticed a change in my credit on MyFico. I found that Penfed had closed one of my cards. It had a 0 balance and I'm guessing was because I haven't used it in over a year. I was a bit disappointed, losing the $6,000 in total credit limit. I decided to check around with issuers and found I was prequalified for 4 different Citi cards. I pulled the trigger for the Citi Custom Cash card and was approved with a $12,000 sl. That was actually the biggest sl I've received to date. It was worth the hard pull. Now, I've never been in with Citi before. How are they for future cl increases? Are they soft pulls? Any advice is appreciated. I'm planning on taking advantage of the 0% apr for balance transfers and moving balances from other cards over.

after about 4-6 months you should be able to get a CLI

when you go to request one, it will say if they are requesting your credit report or not, if they are, it will be a HP, if they aren't, it won't be a HP.

Congratulations on your CITI approval @Sbrav77 Make sure when you ask for your CLI that you haven't just opened up a new account. CITI is sensitive to that. That's a good SL for your CCC.

Congratulations on your Citi custom cash approval. That is good starting limit for Citi bank, I also have the Custom cash back with 8K limit.
