Chase Sapphire Preferred APPROVED (Complete Alternate Trifecta)!

Well some long term planning paid off. Based on what I learned from this forum I knew Chase would offer their CSP with a elevated UR point SUB once a year. I also knew during this time, it was a bit easiest to get pass Chase's underwriting. With the 100,000 UR points elevated SUB going live in branch last week, and rumors from Doctor of Credit of the offer going live on-line today, I marked my calender and waited to app in the comfort of my house.

I seen the buzz on YouTube earlier today. When I have the chance I unfroze my EX, logged to Chase, filled out the App I was instantly Approved!

DP's:

EX: 725 (score dropped 1 point after app)

INQ: 3 (2 of 3 were Chase)

5/24 Status: 2/24

Credit ULT: 4% or 13% with HELOC

Chase Checking/Saving accts

Based on what I read in the past years here and on reddit, yes.

Hopefully the letter has a non-issue you can get them to approve you.

It took me 3 recons to get approved for the Chase Freedom Flex because of the way the UWs were calulating my availability credit to my income.

I wish I saw this yesterday.

I called them, I was confused when they told me my DTI was high (did I miss a zero?) 60% utilization on a card spooked them, it was a BT 0% paid off in a few months.
I would have expected much more as a SL if I didn't have the large balance. Fortunately, they'll see me pay balances down quickly.

I learned about this the rule/guideline when I on my 3rd RECON for the CFF (Chase Recon Line Denied for DTI Ratio? ). Since than I also seen a few post on Reddit about it. However every time I mention this to people they disagree saying there is no sure rule.
