Was booking some flights for my birthday and got a pop up and would get $300 off figured why not. Applied and did not realize my TU was frozen , got the notification the inquiry was blocked but then i got an email that my EX report was pulled. Decided to call backdoor number and was advised that I was credit apporved but I needed to talk to security. Talked with security and was approved for 1000. Very odd as I have High Income , Low DTI and 771 EX Score. So I decided to go look at my app status. Apparently I was not approved for the Jetblue Plus but for the Jetblue Travel World Card which has a 34.99 interest rate. This truly feels like a slap in the face and this will be the last time i ever apply to barclay. Good news is I can decline the offer which means no new account.

One good thing about Barclay's bank you camspeak to real live person in the credit underwriting department. If your credit score and income are high then you would be able to recon and get high credit limit and better terms. When you apply on line it is all driven by computer algorithn, with barclay's they do not do a second hard pull. They do like pulling from Transunionfirst..r algothin
